As ABS-CBN’s franchise is set to end this March 2020 and Congress said it has run out of time to issue a new legislative franchise, ABS-CBN is left with no choice but to stop broadcasting on April 2020.
However, while the Lopezes are too proud to beg on their knees in front of President Duterte asking for a new Congressional franchise, ABS-CBN talents and even former employees who are now into politics are not giving up, pitching on behalf of ABS-CBN.
One of those making a pitch on behalf of ABS-CBN is former reporter Sol Aragones and now Laguna Representative out of concern of former colleagues and co-workers who will lose their respective livelihoods in April 2020.
But Jay Sonza, a former ABS-CBN broadcaster and now retired, isn’t convinced of Aragones’ sincerity.
Sonza recalled that when ABS-CBN sent hundreds of her former colleagues to unemployment, Aragones did not lift a finger if she’s really concern for the ABS-CBN employees.
Of course Sonza wants Aragones to prove him wrong and ABS-CBN’s impending expiration of its franchise is the perfect occasion for the former ABS-CBN reporter and now Laguna Representative to make amends.
To prove that she is really concerned for her former colleagues, Sonza issued a dare to Aragones in a Facebook post published today.
To find out what this is all about, you may read Sonza’s original FB post below.
Laguna Rep.
Huwag kang hipokrita.
