The most frequently asked question among supporters of Bongbong Marcos and even non Marcos supporters is, “if there is widespread fraud, can Leni Robredo get jailed?”
According to lawyer Trixie Cruz-Angeles, Leni Robredo goes to jail if indeed there was a widespread election fraud and it is proven that Robredo had full knowledge, consented and participated in the commission of such act.
Angeles called the question complicated but she said it can be done by filing a criminal case for violation of the Election Code. However, since the case is bailable, no one goes to jail immediately.
If found guilty, the defendants will spend jail time and perpetual disqualification from holding a public office, be it appointive or elective.

Frequently asked question: kung may widespread fraud, makukulong ba si Leni?
Medyo complicated na tanong yan. So basa ng maigi.
Ang election protest tulad nitong hinahawakan ng Presidential Electoral Tribunal ay administrative case. Hindi ito criminnal case. So kung ano man ang desisyon dito, wala pong makukulong. Agad.
Instead, ang findings dito ay maaaring gamitin bilang ebidensya sa isang criminal case for violation ng Election Code. So kailangan mag file ng kaso sa COMELEC for finding of probable cause, tapos saka didinggin ng regional trial court.
May bail po yan. Pero kabilang sa parusa nito, maliban sa kulong ay perpetual disqualification from office, meaning di na pwede humawak ng posisyon sa gobyerno, whether appointive or elective, forever.
Kung sino ang makakasuhan, ay determined by the evidence. So kung may evidence halimbawa na involved si Leni, meaning, alam niya na at kasabwat sya sa pandaraya, with her full knowledge, consent and participation, kasama siya.
