How is President Duterte doing after declaring [email protected] vs Oligarchs (water concessionaires)? Well, as far as lady lawyer Trixie Cruz-Angeles is concerned, the President is doing fine and winning.
This is good news because when President Duterte declared [email protected] versus the country’s oligarchs, the supporters of the President can’t help but get nervous for the President.
Who wouldn’t? No President in this country who dared to go against them came out triumphant.
Former President Marcos won initially his [email protected] against the Oligarchs but in the end, he was ousted from Malacanang.
Former President GMA almost lost the Presidency but she came out as the most hated President because she was saddled with allegations of graft and corruption. In the end she was vindicated after she was cleared by the courts after spending years in detention.
Erap was ousted when the Oligarchs, Cory Aquino, Fidel Ramos and the powerful Catholic church joined the call for Erap to step down.
Erap was ousted because he dipped his hands in jueteng money, plus the fact that the Oligarchs and LP did not like him as President because of his pro-poor image that did not sit well with the elites.
As Atty. Trixie said, the President is winning the chess game being played versus the oligarchs.
Although it is early to tell if President Duterte will emerge victorious out of this, Atty. Trixie of the FB page “Luminous by Trixie Cruz-Angeles & Ahmed Paglinawan” gives us an update and the summary of President Duterte’s moves to gain an edge over the Oligarchs in her latest FB post.
